Enjoy broadening your world!
The word alescunna is derived from the Latin words
ala (“wing”), alesco (“to soar”), and cunnan, the root of “know” and “can.”
It embodies our desire to help people spread their wings and soar into society
with what they “know” and what they “can do.”

about me
Saori TAKATO
Raised from childhood with exposure to cultures from various regions of Japan, she also gained international experience through study programs in the United States and Germany. She studied foreign language education at university, and with the desire to “apply the foreign languages I’ve learned to benefit society,” she engaged in Japanese-German-English translation and internship at an overseas institution while still a student.
Wanting to view education from a broader perspective, she joined a global consulting firm after completing her master’s degree. As a management consultant in the manufacturing and retail sectors, she was involved in domestic and international market research for medium- to long-term strategic planning, project management (PM) for new business launches, and other initiatives.
She became freelance in 2016. Focusing primarily on the education industry, she has engaged in a wide range of activities including project management, workshop planning and facilitation, educational interviews and article writing, e-learning material development, and supporting Japanese inspection visit for a German institution.
Since 2019, she has been based in the UK, continuing managing projects with Japanese companies while also teaching Japanese language at a university and a language school.
